D-1 Downtown Zoning
by the Topeka Planning Commission, requesting a review under Kansas State Preservation Law Review [K.S.A. 75-2724] for the re-classification of properties presently zoned O&I-2 Office & Institutional District and I-1 Light Industrial District, ALL TO D-1 Downtown Mixed-Used District. The proposed re-classification would change the underlying zoning for the Church of the Assumption Historic District, the Masonic Lodge, the Dillon House, the Women’s Club Building, the Kansas State Capitol Building, and the United States Post Office Building, all of which are individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
