by Topeka Planning Commission requesting to amend the District Zoning Classification of the properties listed below from M-3 “Multiple Family”, O&I-2 “Office and Institutional”, and C-4 “Commercial” ALL TO D-2 “Downtown” District. These properties are located in Downtown Topeka with boundaries of SW Topeka Boulevard, SW 5th Street, SW Jackson Street, and SW 2nd Street. Specific properties identified for rezoning are identified below and a map of the properties can be found at www.topeka.org/planning/downtownddistricts.

The vacant lot approximately 145’ north from the centerline of SW 3rd Street on the east side of SW Topeka Boulevard; the vacant lot approximately 97’ south from the centerline of SW 3rd Street on the east side of SW Topeka Boulevard; the vacant lot approximately 140’ north from the centerline of SW 5th Street on the east side of SW Topeka Boulevard; the electric power generation lot approximately 160’ west from the centerline of SW Van Buren Street on the north side of SW 4th Street; the electric power generation lot approximately 45’ west from the centerline of SW Van Buren Street on the south side of SW 3rd Street; the vacant lot approximately 50’ east from the centerline of SW Van Buren Street on the north side of SW 4th Street; and the vacant lot containing a billboard sign approximately 50’ west from the centerline of SW Van Buren Street on the south side of SW 2nd Street.
